Meet Sian

Sian first found yoga in 2018 as a way of getting back into fitness and to ease her anxiety/stress, and immediately felt that she had found her calling in life.

Leaving behind a career in financial services, Sian completed her 200hr Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher training in 2019, with Yoga Alliance accredited school, YogaLondon. She has subsequently completed further study in pre and post natal yoga, yin yoga, & yoga for menopause. She is currently studying towards her 300 hour certification in Holistic Flow Yoga.

As well as her own community classes, Sian teaches at international corporations, for local charities, the NHS, and is a mindfulness retreat host for Synergy Experiences at their Berkshire, Winchester & Guildford venues.

Sian is a keen baker, known for bringing sweet treats to class on occasion, and loves animals! Her cats and dog can often be seen joining online classes.

Sian believes staying active is key to achieving wellness in mind and body, so has also qualified to teach aerial silks, (yep, like you see in the circus), after falling in love with this type of movement art. You can find her at Kelly's Aerial Academy in Andover.

Why Aurora? One of Sian's favourite places to visit is the Arctic Circle to catch the Northern Lights!
The feeling you get when you witness the natural phenomenon is one of awe, and it is an incredibly grounding experience. Through the gift of yoga, Sian hopes to help you recognise the same beauty in every day life, and have this same feeling of awe towards yourself.

Sian looks forward to welcoming you to the mat soon!
